Projecto L7885 Website. The Leão de Ouro restaurant (Rua 1.º de Dezembro) and the Leão Group, the circle of artists who first introduced Naturalism to Portugal.
A Brasileira do Chiado, o Bristol Club e os Salões de Outono — 1925-1927 Master's dissertation (Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa) about the Brasileira café (Rua Garrett) and the Bristol nightclub (Rua das Portas de Santo Antão), and their impact in the Modernist scene. (See recent article and video statement about the Brasileira.) To be published in late 2026.
Cais do Sodré - Das tavernas de marinheiros à revolução Jamaica e Tokyo Book. A history of Lisbon's centuries-old red-light district, its establishments and popular figures, and the bohemian and cultural life. Published in 2026 (chapter 3 by Guiomar Belo Marques; an original idea by Luís Carlos Amaro and Carlos Machete Ramadinha).
Maxime Ongoing research on the 1950s Maxime nightclub (Praça da Alegria). Press interviews on the subject: Expresso; Diário de Notícias; Sapo; New in Town. Research website to be published in 2026.
O Vigia Ongoing research on the extinct café-restaurant Vigia (Avenida da Liberdade), a 1920s Modernist gathering spot parallel to the main artistic and literary vanguard scene. Initial research first presented in a 2021 conference.

Santa Rita Pintor The awkward reception of the painter's work outside Portugal 1910s-1920s); the publication of the Portugal Futurista magazine (1917); how to look at him 100 years after his death (2018); a show with unknown works (2020).
Mário de Sá-Carneiro The poet's last days and new-found documents (2020).
José Pacheco The Galeria das Artes project (1916); the Contemporânea magazine (1920s).
Portuguese Modernists in Paris The Chez Fast bookshop (1919-1931): Homem Christo Filho, José Pacheco, Almada Negreiros.
