The Archivist
Alma Capone is a sophomore English & Creative Writing and Political Science double major from Franklin, TN. She has participated in the Mac Fest staged readings in 2024 and 2025 as both an actor and a playwright, and she enjoyed bringing her playwriting experience to this project. She would like to thank her friends for convincing her to audition, and her castmates, stage managers, and kt shorb for their support and commitment to creating this show. Autumn Choma '29
The Seed
Although this is Autumn's (she/her, 2029) first theater production at Macalester, she is heavily involved in the dance program and performed in the Fall and Spring dance concerts this year. With noted interest in the intersectionality of social justice and the arts, Autumn intends to continue studying dance and political science.

The Gardener
Alea (she/her) is a first year and prospective Neuroscience major. She worked tech for The 39 Steps last fall, and has played a role as Fight Captain in addition to her onstage role in Romeo and Juliet. She would like to thank the chaotic and supportive group of people that worked so hard to make this show happen. Enjoy the show!

Theo is an actor/dancer who is in their second Mac show as a performer. They also perform on stage as their drag persona Teddy Bare. They are excited to perform and hope you enjoy!
Destiny Kromah '28
The Lover
Destiny Kromah is a Macalester College student studying theater and has been performing professionally for approximately four years. In high school, they participated in Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Triple Threat Experience for two years and won a trip to New York to further develop their craft. In the Minneapolis area, Destiny has booked roles including Syreeta in the debut of A Pick for the Hair of the Black Kids That Don’t Wanna Be Gangstas (Pillsbury House), multiple roles in The Macbeths (Rough Magic), and Birdie in a staged reading of Ida (Deidre Cochran).

The Conscience
Viv is an English Creative Writing major with a Chinese and Theater double minor. Theater has always been a big part of her life and she's very excited to continue and grow her experiences!
Reece Robinson '26
The Poet
Reece Robinson (they/them/theirs) is a senior American Studies major with minors in Political Science and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. They are a member of the Macalester class of 2026. This is their first full length production here at Macalester, and they are so grateful to have spent the semester creating this work with such a talented and passionate community.

Max Schuette is sophomore music major. This is their second theatre production at Macalester after Romeo and Juliet earlier this semester. They’d like to thank kt and the rest of the cast for helping them continue to hone their craft and grow throughout this process.

Stage Manager
Rosie Bai is a senior Dance minor and a double major in Environmental Studies and Political Science. This is her 4th production as a stage manager/assistant stage manager at Mac. She is grateful to work alongside such a dedicated cast and creative team, and would like to thank everyone involved in creating this devised art! Technical Director
Tom (he/him) has been Technical Director, guest designer and instructor at Macalester since 1990. He has worked throughout the Twin Cities as a scenic and lighting designer and technical director.
Sarah Brandner
Scenic Designer
Sarah Brandner (she/her) is a Twin Cities–based scenic and lighting designer and is delighted to be the scenic designer for Greetings from the Edge of the Anthropocene! Wish You Were Here! She thrives on collaboration and believes imagination is the fundamental element shared by everyone who creates or experiences live theatre. Being part of the magic and wonder of a production—in any capacity—can be truly life-changing.

Emelia Brinkley (they/them) is a lighting designer, production assistant, and carpenter in the Theater and Dance department at Macalester College. They would like to thank Tom, Brian, Wu Chen, the shop workers, and Grey for their help and support throughout this process.
Nora Bower '27
Props Designer
Nora Bower '27 (she/her) is a junior at Mac studying women's, gender, and sexuality studies and theater design. She has previously designed props for Holmes & Watson and assisted scenic design for The 39 Steps.
Brian Fox
Technical Assistant
Brian Fox (He/Him) has been Technical Assistant at Macalester since 2018, with a few pandemic inspired breaks. He got his start building sets with the Montana Shakespeare Company, and worked in the Scene Shop as a Macalester student, contributing in varying capacities to show in the old building such as The Glass Menagerie and As You Like It. Highlights of his work include a large curved staircase in The Rocky Horror Show, a rolling staircase in Angels in America, and a slide in Thunderbodies.
Grey Henry '28
Light Board Operator
Grey is a sophomore environmental studies major and geology/biology minor. You may have seen them on stage in Three Storms Before You Learn to Float and in past dance concerts. They are looking forward to stepping behind the scenes to operate lights for this incredible show.
Wu Chen Khoo
Production Manager
Wu Chen Khoo is a lighting designer, stagehand, production manager and labour organizer. He is based in Minneapolis and works internationally. Some of his lighting designs have been seen at Penumbra Theatre, Theater Mu, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Stages Theatre Company, Pangea World Theatre, the Fitzgerald Theater, Children’s Theatre Company, the Guthrie Theater and Mixed Blood Theater. He co-founded the education program Technical Tools of the Trade, which aimed to train, connect and support people through the skills of technical theatre. He is a founding member of the Class & the Arts collective and The Mothership, both groups of workers organizing to build Solidarity and hold space for critical engagement with issues of social justice including through the arts & entertainment industry. He is a proud member of IATSE, the union representing many of the technical workers in the arts and entertainment industry. He shares his life with his partner Kristin and children Teng Jin and Yi Lian.
Jess Mallory '28
Assistant Director
Jess is a sophomore at Macalester designing an interdisciplinary major in Community and Global Health and minoring in Biology and Theater. Previous Macalester credits include A Forgotten Mind, the Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Fall 2025 Dance Concerts, and MacFest. They are thrilled to be working alongside kt and this group of creative, socially engaged artists. Alec/Aleya (Any/All) is a Sophomore at Macalester and a Theater and Dance major. This is her first show as Stage Manager, though you may have seen her performing onstage in previous shows. She is very excited to bring you GTFEOTAWYWH (the universally agreed upon best way to refer to this show) and hopes that you enjoy it!

K Marie Mielke (she/they) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist with a BA from Augsburg University. She is extremely grateful to have been a stitcher on this production. Recent design credits include costumes: A Christmas Carol… More or Less at Yellow Tree Theatre, Newsies Jr. at The FAIR School in Crystal, The Dining Room at Saint Paul Academy, and props: Crazy for You at Maple Grove Senior High School. Stacey Palmer
Costume Shop Director
Stacey is a theatrical costume and scenic designer who specializes in musicals, children’s productions, and educational theater. Her passion is collaborating with artists and creating work that has the capability of initiating positive change. With each production, she is dedicated to digging deep into the symbolism of the play and finding ways to incorporate the text into her design work. Stacey’s costume and scenic design has been seen on the stages of Journey North Opera Company, Children’s Theatre Company, Sod House Theater, Lakeshore Players, Theater Mu, Guthrie Theater, Daleko Arts, Steppingstone Theatre, Carleton College, The Haunted Basement, Eat Street Players, Stages Theatre, Anoka Ramsey Community College, and the University of Minnesota. Stacey has a B.S in Apparel Design with a minor in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota and an MFA in Scenic and Costume Design with a minor in Theatre Historiography from the University of Minnesota.
Heidi Batz Rogers

Heidi Batz Rogers (she/her) is a Minneapolis-based multi-disciplinary artist with three+ decades experience contributing to Twin Cities theatre productions as an actor, director, designer and most passionately movement and stage fight director. Local theatre credits include Pillsbury House Theatre, The Guthrie, Mixed Blood, Theatre Mu, The Jungle, History Theatre, Stages Theatre Company, Rough Magic Performance Company and colleges and universities across the state. Motivated by the co-creative process Heidi enjoys working with diverse ensembles of performers and production teams to bring entertaining, engaging and enlightening stories to life.

kt shorb (they/them) is a director and scholar. They were founding Producing Artistic Director of the Austin-based devised theatre troupe, Generic Ensemble Company (GenEnCo). Stage directing credits include: SWAPNŌ JHNĀP: DREAM JUMPING with Ananya Dance Theatre, FIFTY BOXES OF EARTH with Theater Mu, OTTONE IN VILLA for Carnegie Mellon University Opera, LUCRETIA for Temple Opera Theatre, L'INCORONAZIONE DI POPPEA with Chicago Summer Opera, SHE KILLS MONSTERS for Allegheny Playshop Theatre, and THE MIKADO: RECLAIMED with GenEnCo. kt is recipient of the 2023-24 Social Science Research Council Arts Research with Communities of Color Fellowship and a Wolf Trap Opera Directing Fellowship. Their article, "Temporal Ruptures: Time Travel, The Queer of Color Body, and Healing History in the Collaborative Works of Anna Luisa Petrisko" is forthcoming from Theatre History Studies.
