Established in the aftermath of World War II, the United States Fulbright Program offers international educational and cultural exchange programs for students, scholars, artists, teachers, and professionals of all backgrounds to study, teach, or pursue important research and professional projects with the overarching aim of finding solutions to shared international concerns. In this session members of the recently formed University of Lynchburg Fulbright Council will share about the history and ideals of the Fulbright Program, grant opportunities for students, faculty, and staff, as well as opportunities to invite distinguished scholars from across the globe to our campus. The session will conclude with a brief overview of general application requirements and timelines.
