Week of

12/10/18 to 12/14/18

Students, dress code for cold days remains the same as usual. Blankets can not be worn in class and if you are outside - your LWC sweatshirt must be visible.

Dear LWCS Parents,
There has been a tradition established at Lake Worth Christian School for parents -if they so desire- to give teachers and staff a small monetary token of their appreciation at Christmas time. Rather than each family offering individual gifts, these donations are collected by the school and distributed with specific amounts to full time and part time employees. This is a wonderful way to express our appreciation of the dedication & love that the LWCS Faculty show our children daily.
If you wish to be a part of this tradition, please drop off your monetary gift at either school office by this Friday December 14. Please clearly mark the contribution as designated for “staff appreciation.”
Thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter!
In Christ’s service,
Bob Buffett
Board President

Bible Verse of the Week:

The 2nd Week of Advent

Colossians 3:12-17 (NIV)

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do,whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
