More than two decades after culminating as an 8th grader from A.E.Wright, I’m thrilled to be returning as a staff member. Over the past 13 years, I have taught social studies, language arts, Spanish, and supported independent study students in all subjects of middle and high school. I love learning and sharing knowledge. I love listening to people talk passionately about something they love.

I’m so excited to be joining the GATE team and getting to work with the wonderful students of A.E.Wright. My favorite thing about teaching is making connections between myself and my students and between my students and the curriculum. History is alive today and everyone loves a good story.

I received my BA from UC Santa Barbara and my MA from Pepperdine. Even though I've traveled and lived abroad, I'm always so glad to come home to our happy little community in the hills.
