Meet Mr. Hees

My name is George Hees and this is my 23rd year at Round Meadow. I taught 5th grade for 14 years, served as principal for two, and am excited for my seventh year in 4th grade. I grew up in Thousand Oaks and went to college at Westmont in Santa Barbara. I received my credential from Cal State Northridge and my Master's degree from Trident International University. 

I currently live in Newbury Park with my wife Tara and four kids. My daughter Reilly is 18 years old, my son George is 16, my daughter Molly is 13, and my youngest daughter Cait is 11. We also have a 8 year old black lab named Dodger and a 3 year old yellow lab named Blue. All of our kids are usually in sports and we enjoy cheering them on on the weekends. We also enjoy going to the beach and traveling together.
