Using Library Resources
Students and teachers are welcome to use the library to find help with research, create a multimedia project, find a great book, get help with Chromebooks, access the printer or copier, or just find a peaceful place to work.
Class Signups
Library classes have priority over other classes using the space but the library media specialist will attempt to be flexible whenever possible
Teachers wishing to bring classes to the library should check with the library media specialist, who will determine which dates and times the requested library spaces are available
It is highly recommended that teachers check with the library media specialist before assigning research or book projects so that she will be familiar with the project, can share best resources available through the library, and can best assist students
Online Coursework
High School students taking online courses may use the library during their designated block and/or study
Online students will have priority usage of the Media Cafe to work on their courses in a quiet space
Individual High Schools Students
High school students may come with a signed pass from a classroom teacher or from a study hall (space permitting and with a pass from Mrs. Vallee) to look for a book, conduct research, make school-related copies, type or print, or work quietly on a project. Anyone talking or not working will immediately be sent back to study or class
