A little about myself:

After attending Lamar University and earning a bachelor of business administration, I realized that my true calling was to work in education. I returned to school to pursue a teaching certificate and have taught at Lumberton Intermediate School ever since! I have now been a 6th grade Science and Social Studies teacher for 5 years. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in counseling at Lamar University and plan to graduate in the spring of 2023.

Some of my professional goals in education are to create a safe and supportive environment for all students in my class, to enrich learning and interest through fun and hands-on activities, and to pursue my master's degree for school counseling.

Some personal strengths that I feel enhance our classroom community are that I have a very positive and upbeat personality, I am a great listener when student's need an adult to guide them, and I am dedicated to continuing my education to be the best teacher possible for your student.
