College, Career, and Military Readiness

Laying the foundation of Postsecondary Readiness for ALL Students

All students should graduate from high school ready for college, careers, the military, or any future they choose in life. College and Career Ready students should be able to enter college or the workforce without the need for remediation.

Lumberton ISD is committed to focusing on rigorous and relevant education that prepares our students for post-secondary learning as well as a wide range of careers. We offer an advanced placement program and a growing dual credit program to give our students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school.  We offer multiple programs of study through our Career and Technical Education program.  Throughout the progression of each program, students learn relevant skills that may lead to an industry based certification, future career choice and/or path towards a college degree.

Our goal is to equip our graduates with the tools needed to be successful in whichever path they choose.  If you have any questions in regards to our programs, please contact the counseling office, or our CTE Director, Vicki Mouton at vmouton@lumberton.k12.tx.us.
