Mrs. Miller's Herty Hornets
A Little About Your Teacher:
This year I will be going into my 17th year of teaching. I am a 2019 graduate from Lamar University where I received my Masters in Educational Teacher Leadership. I also graduated from SFA in 2007 with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and now Second Grade. I have acted as team leader 10 years out of my teaching experience, been voted teacher of the year, acted as a mentor teacher to new teachers and 5 student teachers throughout my teaching career. My education and experiences have helped me to build a foundation in becoming the best educator that I can be for your child. This year is going to be a great year and I look forward to working with you and your child. I thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and support as we embark on a new year. Please contact me if you ever have any questions, concerns, or even suggestions. I am always here to help.
