Google Drive

Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google. As part of Lufkin ISD, you have a Google Drive created and linked with your Lufkin email address. Anytime you add files into Google Drive, your can access those files anywhere and at anytime with your LISD login. Drive also allows for you to share access with others to collaborate or view files.

Drive is organized based on the image to the left. The highlighted "My Drive" is your default storage location for any files you create within the Google Suite or upload into Google Drive. In addition to "My Drive", you also have "Shared drives". "Shared drives" create separate storage locations that are only accessible to those that are added to that drive. These are typically used for teams, campuses and/or departments. The "Shared with me" section is where you can quickly find files that have been shared with you by another file owner.
