Weekly, students will be tested on 20 spelling words and five vocabulary words. Incorrect spelling will be counted against spelling tests, but not with the vocabulary words. Homework will be assigned Monday-Friday and will consist of reading for 30 minutes, spelling and handwriting practice, vocabulary/word work. These assignments may be on paper or on Google Classroom.

Grading Policies

My grading policy follows our district guidelines as outlined in the student handbook. Weekly, one grade will be taken for spelling, social studies, reading comprehension, writing mechanics and composition writing. These grades may be taken from online or paper assignments or assessments. Students will be able to retake an assignment for up to a grade of 70.

Tutorials/ Zoom Lesson

Mini Lessons are available on google classroom and through Zoom video calls. Non mandatory office hours are 11:15-11:50 am. Mandatory Zoom classes for virtual students are daily from 12:20-2:50 pm.
