**Morgan’s educational philosophy- “All students are unique in their own way and as educators we need to use these strengths to teach and advance our students. Every student has varying interests and learns differently; therefore, a one size fits all form of learning does not work. ”- has been a driving force in her role as both a speech and language pathologist and preschool special education supervisor.

Her philosophy and commitment to providing every child an appropriate education also played a major role in her decision to seek and be elected as a member of the Monson Public Schools school committee in 2021.

Morgan and her husband Bob have two amazing children, Lukas and Jacob, and two animated boxers, Cooper and Charlie. In their free time,  you might find this outdoor loving  family hiking, playing sports, out on the water where they wakesurf, tube, fish, relax in the sun, or they might be having fun playing with their mud loving dogs.

Morgan has a love for history and learning about the many historical landmarks around the world, sparking a personal goal of visiting as many national parks and historical landmarks around the world as possible in her lifetime.

**We welcome you to read Mrs. Morgan's Educational Philosophy

My philosophy in education is understanding that all students are unique in their own ways and as educators we need to use these strengths to teach and advance our students. Every student has varying interests and learns differently; therefore, a one size fits all form of learning does not work. As educators, we need to identify each student’s learning style to create an environment that fosters positive learning experiences. In doing this, we build each student’s confidence in learning and in themselves, and empower and motivate them to be active learners. I believe students learn best when they are confident in their abilities and in turn will be more engaged and successful in the learning environment. I believe a good learning environment is one where students and staff members are a community and work together in transdisciplinary ways to support and encourage one another. Students need a learning environment that is accessible, and where communication and respect is mutual, they feel safe and where everyone’s participation is encouraged and wanted. Every student should feel a part of their environment and trust that their ideas matter and they all have something great to contribute. These principles have guided me in my educational journey and are at the root of why I love early childhood education. Working with families, teachers, support staff, and administration to help students develop these skills and maintain positive learning environments has been highly rewarding (especially to watch every student’s success and progress throughout each school year). It is my mission to instill a lifelong love for learning, where each student continues to explore and engage with  the world around them. I want my community of students to embrace learning with curiosity and confidence, and to be their authentic selves. A learning community open to creativity and one that establishes and maintains respect for all individuals will help ensure that all l students are successful in today’s world.
