MEET Mrs. NEMETH

In July 2011 Nemeth accepted the position as the Ludlow High School Principal. In her ten years as principal, she focused on developing positive relationships within the community, working collaboratively to support students and staff to reach their greatest potential, strengthening a connection between school and home, and fostering a positive school culture.


Nemeth is a well-respected and talented educator with a myriad of experience that exemplifies positive, professional leadership focused on student success. She brings with her the belief that every student should be given the opportunity to challenge themselves with a rigorous and relevant curriculum and be provided with the necessary support to gain skills for success in the 21st century.


Nemeth received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College where she majored in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She received a full fellowship to attend Springfield College where she earned a Master of Science degree in Health Promotion/Wellness Management with a concentration in Health Education.


Before arriving at Ludlow High School Nemeth taught for two years in the Belchertown Public Schools and then spent seventeen years at Chicopee High School. During this time she began her administrative preparation and earned her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Administration from Westfield State University, serving as an Assistant Principal at Chicopee High School for her last four years.


Nemeth and her husband have been Ludlow residents for twenty-seven years. They have two adult children who attended Ludlow Public Schools and graduated from Ludlow High School.
