EAST STREET BACKFIELD TRANSFORMED INTO A PARKING LOT OF LEARNING!

Putting East Street School students into the driver's seat of their learning!

For the second year in a row, the backfield of East Street School became a parking lot of learning when vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and colors gave students an educational and fun hands-on experience that supported the transportation curriculum.

Sending our thanks to the members of the LHS Students Council and their adviser, Shannon Anderson, who traveled to both East Street and Harris Brook Elementary Schools today to celebrate Read Across America on what would have been the 119th birthday of Dr. Seuss!

NICOLE CARBONNEAU RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS TEACHING OF EXCELLENCE AWARD

This marks Carbonneau’s 20th year teaching kindergarten in the Ludlow Public Schools: first at Veterans Park School and currently at East Street School.

Carbonneau is a proud LHS Class of 1999 graduate. It was clear how deserving of this award Carbonneau truly is in the eyes of her students --- she teaches us lots of things, so we’re smart;  she takes care of us by keeping us safe; I love my teacher so, so, so much; my favorite thing in school is my teacher; she is the best teacher ever!
