Hello! I am Mrs. McDougal, your child's 2nd grade Reading Language Arts and Writing teacher. This is my 10th year teaching! I have been at Waters Elementary my whole teaching career. One thing that I strive for is to see each child for who they truly are inside and out. This being said, I will do my absolute best to teach every child, every day the expected lessons and content. I also teach them how to solve problems, take care of their mental health, and to encourage their successes. The motto in my classroom is changing the negative mindset that some kids put on themselves and change it to a positive attitude!

Hi! My name is Ms. Swafford, and I will be a teacher candidate in Mrs. McDougal's 2nd grade classroom. I am currently in my Senior year at Texas Tech University, Wreck Em! I believe I am still a kid at heart, and this year will be just as much a learning experience for me as it will be for the 2nd graders! I am so excited to be at Waters Elementary and 2nd grade!
