2020 Summer Learning Portal

This site has been designed for students in PreKindergarten through Sixth grade. The purpose of this learning portal is to support our students as they stay engaged and excited about learning over the summer. Each week, for eight full weeks, the portal will showcase a variety of thought-provoking, challenging activities that reflect all academic subjects and foster valuable 21st century thinking skills. Students will also have the ability to work at their own pace allowing for a more personalized experience.

Each week, we will update this site with new learning activities for students in grades PreK through 6th grade.

Below are two options for accessing the summer learning activities. You can either click around on the objects in the classrooms, or click on the links in the list below the classrooms. Both will give you access to the same activities.

Helpful Tips:

  • If the link takes you to a Google Slideshow, click on "present" in order to make all of the links live.

  • Google Chrome browser works best, especially for accessing the read aloud videos.

Field Trip of the Week


Yellowstone National Park is a nearly 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho too. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.
