Class Description, Content and Proficiencies

I will be teaching three classes during the 2018-2019 academic year. Please follow the links below to access my class sites.

Semester One: Voices Around the World

Semester Two: Science Fiction and Dystopia

Semester Two: Sports Writing (semester 2)

The main page of each site is a calendar of homework and agendas; these are live links that I update regularly.

There are many resource documents available on each site. These are set to be accessible only to students and members of the LSSU community, however I am happy to grant access on an individual basis if you ask. In your request for access, please make sure you indicate who your student is (or send me an additional email) so that I can be sure I am sharing our classroom materials with appropriate people. In the past when I have left my documents "open" I found my class materials were taken and used by educators around the country without my permission.

I teach classes only during the mornings, and as a part time teacher I am often difficult to track down in the building. You are always welcome to call the main office at 802-888-4600 and leave me a message, but because I leave the building by noon most days, it is far easier to reach me by email:

Homework Calendar, Assignments and Scores

The homework calendar, class assignments and assignment scores and feedback are posted in Schoology for all classes. Parents and guardians can view these items by creating a parent account. Instructions on creating a parent account can be found HERE.
