Morristown Elementary students attend music class once a week for 45 minutes. By the end of 4th grade students will have experienced playing a wind instrument (recorder), a string instrument (ukulele), and plenty of percussion. We will sing folk songs and play games every class, and students will leave MES being tuneful, beatful, and artful human beings ready to participate in music for the rest of their lives. 4th grade students also have the exciting opportunity to begin a band instrument: flute, clarinet, trumpet, or trombone.
