Meet the Teacher

My name is Mrs. Erica Chick, and I am so excited to be a part of your child's educational journey this year! As a teacher, my mission is to provide a learning environment that enables all of my students to feel important, safe, and successful in my classroom. I believe it is important for educators to inspire lifelong learning. Our opportunity for growth is endless!

With that being said, I will be your child's ELA and Social Studies teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Reading has always been my passion. I love to share my love of literacy with my students.  I have a master's degree in literacy with endorsements in both ESL PreK-12 and Reading Specialist PreK-12.  I will work hard throughout the year to help every student gain confidence as a reader and writer.

I truly look forward to getting to know you and your child this year. We will work really hard, but we will try to have a lot of fun while doing it. Please know that I am here for your child and encourage you to contact me if you have ANY questions or concerns throughout the year.
