Award Nominees

This is a statewide program for grades 1-3. Ten nominated books are read to the students by the library media specialist and classroom teachers. Students then vote on their favorite nominee, and the winner is announced in mid-April.

This metro area reading program is designed for students in third grade. Nominated books are read by teachers and students, and voting takes place in early spring. The winner is announced in early May.

This is a statewide program for students in grades 4-8. Teachers and students read the required number of books, and voting takes place in March. The winner of the Mark Twain Reading Award is announced in mid-April.
