The Lourdesian Assembly was initiated by the High School Student Government (HSSG) at the Albacina Hall on October 2, 2025.
The said assembly is the official deliberative and legislative body of the HSSG, responsible for assisting in key decisions and implementation of projects while serving as the checks and balances for the said organization. The Class Presidents, Secretaries, Public Information Officers (PIOs), and other elected officers attended the first Lourdesian Assembly this Academic Year 2025-2026.
Senior High School (SHS) President Karl William Ocampo welcomed the homeroom officers to the first Lourdesian Assembly for Academic Year 2025-2026.
Senior High School (SHS) President Karl William R. Ocampo presided over the meeting, reminding the body of its responsibilities and powers. The SHS President stated that the HSSG is currently working on reforms to the Constitution of the High School Student Government and the general system of the organization to sustain and streamline all future activities and decisions. He also highlighted that the administration is willing to improve further communication among the other high school organizations even after the organizational program, LOCKED IN: Org Day 2025. The current policy is characterized by long-term objectives aimed at setting the stage for future leaders, even in the following years.
The SHS President advocates the separation of the Junior High School and Senior High School Student Governments for independence and representation, thus, allowing for a greater number of projects and tasks to be accomplished. He aims to utilize the Auxilium Committee to allow for greater participation from the student body.
Programs of the Student Government such as the Teachers’ Day Celebration, Digital Responsibility Symposiums, High School Night (HSN), and Graduation Ball were being processed, according to the SHS President.
The SHS President provided the different long-term policies, reforms, and projects of the High School Student Government (HSSG).
In the latter half of the meeting, homeroom officers were given the time to plan their respective class programs for their Teachers’ Day Celebration, which was held on October 7.
The assembly was then adjourned being reminded by the example of St. Lawrence of Brindisi, OFMCap., Doctor of the Church, where each Lourdesian officer was called to lead as a brother and serve as a minor.
