Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope Launching

On January 14, 2025, Lourdes School of Mandaluyong held its grand launching of Jubilee 2025 with the theme, "Pilgrims of Hope". It was presided over by Mr. Agerico Abejo III emphasizing the importance of prayer and renewing our faith in God, despite the challenges being faced. Selected LSM students and personnel gave their speech about applying important values like faith and hope in our daily lives. The celebration serves as a milestone for the Church and through it, the students are urged to continue practicing their faith while helping the community in our journey as Lourdesians.
Jubilee 2025 is a special year in the life of the Church as it is currently celebrated every 25 years, with the last jubilee celebration being in the year 2000. These are marked as a time to re-establish a proper relationship with God and everything that surrounds us. Pope Francis mentioned that even throughout our hope for good things to come, uncertainty can bring conflicting and pessimistic thoughts. With this, the Jubilee serves as a way to find reason to be hopeful in our world.
