By Anton Miguel M. Selga
Even after a thousand years,
I will be here lending my ears.
To those whose voices go unheard,
Iโll stand beside you, undeterred.
Like trees that sway in deadly winds,
Or flames that dance and never dims.
Youโre the bright light that my world needs,
The hope I seek to always lead.
Weโre just like stars, always shining,
Lighting the hearts of those finding,
The answer they need in their lives
To the question โCan I arise?โ
Everyone here can make a choice:
To lift a soul or silence their voice.
Choose to be the right that we seek,
And let your kindness always speak.
