LMS FAQ - Activating G-Suite Account

Google for Education gives teachers the freedom to spend more time personalizing the learning experience, and less time managing it. Students can learn 21st-century problem-solving and the skills they’ll use in their future careers, with accessibility features that help every student do their best work.

LSCA students will enjoy a full access to G-Suite for Education featured apps which includes a more personalized and secured Gmail account, virtually unlimited Google Drive storage provisions, seamless and secured video conferencing and chat apps etc.

Getting started / activating your LSCA G-Suite account

Login to Gmail using your assigned domain ID which is usually the combination of your firstname and lastname connected by a dot (.) (see example image on the left).

Enter the default activation password given by the LSCA Google Admin / your teacher and enter your new / personal password when prompted to do so.

On your Google Account Settings don't forget to enter your personal email address (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo etc.) as your secondary email, this will be helpful in the situation you want to reset / recover your password without the help of LSCA Google Admin.

Also on the settings (or go to the URL: aboutme.google.com), upload a photo of you in a 2x2 format.

This will be helpful during Google Classroom and Google Meet interactions.
