At Lafayette Online Academy, we provide our students opportunities to maintain an active social lifestyle.

Lafayette Online Academy also offers students the opportunity to attend exciting field trips to some of our state’s most beloved sites. In 2016-17, LOA student visited the New Orleans Zoo, LSU Hilltop Arboretum, and attended virtual tours of some of the world’s most exciting cities.

Help is just down the road with our on-site teachers located at our Learning Lab located at 312 Almonaster Road in Youngsville (Southside High School) ! To compliment online instruction, Lafayette Online Academy provides access to live and on-site teachers, a school counselor, and full access to all student support services offered by the Lafayette Parish School System.

On a regular basis, our instructors use real-time data to inform students and their families of student course progress. Teachers reach out to students via e-mail, phone, and face-to-face meetings to reteach difficult concepts and ensure students are on track for success. LOA’s virtual teachers will reteach concepts, provide feedback, and communicate regularly with students and their families.
