Our Mission:

Academic Excellence Through, With, and In the Arts and Technology

J. Wallace James Elementary strives to provide excellent educational opportunities to students through an integrated arts and technology curriculum. Students are able to choose a concentration area in the arts, which include dance, drama, vocal music, band, piano, strings, guitar, and visual art. All of the students are heavily exposed to technology in addition to the arts. Every teacher at J. Wallace James has been trained to use various technologies in the classroom in order to enhance the educational process. Teachers in grades 3-5 have also been trained in integrating STEM Science procedures within the science curriculum. The teachers at J.
