About Mrs. Crabtree

I am one of four business teachers at Northeast High School and serve as the FBLA Advisor. This year I will teach Digital Media, Digital Design, Information Technology 1, Sports & Entertainment Marketing and Take Charge.

I took a different path to pursue my teaching career. I originally went to school and obtained a bachelor's degree in Marketing. I have a passion for marketing that began while participating in DECA during high school. After working for a few years at a local pharmaceutical research company I decided I wasn't happy doing what I was doing, I needed more. In 2010 I decided to go back to school to earn my teaching certificate in Business Education. I started my teaching career at Mickle Middle School in 2012 and moved on to LNE in 2014.

When I am not at LNE, I am usually busy entertaining my two children. My husband and I are lucky to be the parents of Trey, our 8 year old son, and Jaiden, our 4 year old daughter. Life with two children is definitely a little crazy, but we couldn't be more happy! Our family also includes two dogs - a loyal black lab/german shepard mix who still thinks she is a puppy at 8 years old, and a 4 year old boxer, Harper.

I am also working on finishing my Masters of Business Administration degree through Wayne State College. If all goes as planned, I will graduate in December 2018. Besides education, I also enjoy running. I coach cross country and track at Mickle Middle School and participate in many road races throughout the year (e.g., Lincoln Half Marathon, Good Life Halfsy, Market to Market, Cornhusker 10k, Leprechaun Chase 10k, etc.).
