What does the Assistant Principal do?

An Assistant Principal supports students in many different capacities.

Supports our PBIS expectations through classroom paws, students of the month, restorative practices and behavior interventions.
Works with students and teachers in the classrooms teaching In FOCUS; the district social & emotional awareness education program for students.
Promotes PBIS expectations with lessons and activities for buddies, class meetings, and classroom curriculum.
Supports Playworks on the playground.
Engages with students to problem solve & and help build friendship skills.
Works with parents and teachers to help problem solve any issues or concerns.
