About the Teacher

About Me

I am Davida Winn, and I will be your math teacher this year! This is my first year at Goddard!

I am originally from Massachusetts, and moved to Colorado in 2020.

I love to travel! In the past year, I traveled to Arizona, California, New York, Florida, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Bosnia, Croatia, and the UK!

I have a pug named Penney. I will talk about her often!

In my free time, I enjoy concerts! Some of my favorite musical artists include the Jonas Brothers, Charlie Puth, Panic! at the Disco, Green Day, and Maroon 5!

I like to hike and kayak.

Experience

I have taught 7th and 8th grade math and Algebra in Colorado, and 6th and 7th grade science in Massachusetts!

I earned my Master's of Education in Middle School Math and Science from Merrimack College, and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry and Forensic Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

During my chemistry studies, I conducted research for the U.S. Army and the University of Denver.

I am so excited to be your math teacher this year!
