Bio: I began my career in back in the midwest where I grew up (Go Illini! Go Salukis! Go Cubs!). After teaching in the state of Illinois for 4 years, I returned to school for my Master's and then found my place here in Colorado. I am beginning my 11th year in Littleton Public Schools, all spent here at Euclid. I love LPS and am particularly crazy about EMS and middle school in general.

I have three children. My oldest son is a Warrior at Arapahoe High School. My middle son is entering his last year as a Puma at Powell Middle School, and my daughter is a Patriot at Franklin. My husband is a former geologist turned STEM coordinator for Englewood Public Schools.

Besides being fully enmeshed in 5 school calendars and activities, we love to camp and take long road trips in the summer. Your children will hear all about it!

Philosophy:

I believe that every individual is capable of learning and accomplishing anything they put their mind to. As educators, our job is not only to provide students with rich and engaging content, but to also ignite their love and passion for learning. Part of this challenging task is to identify student's strengths, to discover and exploit their learning styles, and to guide their personal growth, confidence and resilience. Middle school is a particularly tricky time for social-emotional growth, and this is one reason I enjoy this level. I am passionate about growing the head and the heart of each of your children. I am a staunch advocate for students and will do whatever is in my power to provide for them what benefits them and continues them on their path to success.
