Sydney O'Hare has been involved in the Lincoln Park Marching Band since Freshman year and center snare and section leader since Junior year. She's been active in the LPHS Student Council since Freshman year and has been President of the Class of 2021 since Sophomore year. She is a member of the National Honor Society since Sophomore year and President of the NHS her Senior year. She has also been on stage and backstage with the drama club constantly showing her support and having fun!

What does being a "Railsplitter" mean to you?
Being a Railsplitter at LPHS means being yourself. Railsplitters are full of spirit, confidence, and kindness. Our school is filled with the diversity and pride of being who you are and I think that is really empowering and inspiring.

Sydney answered, "If I could have a superpower it would probably be element manipulation... very specific I know. Bend earth, wind, fire, water. Mostly because I would just be the Avatar and how cool is that?"
