Spelling Bee is a spelling contest organized by Collins PTA for students in grades 3 to 5. The Spelling Bee Chair coordinates with the school staff to register the school with Scripps National Spelling Bee. Without volunteers and staff involvement, we cannot hold the Spelling Bee.

PTA is excited to announce that the annual Spelling Bee is back this year!

Open to Collins students in grades 3-5.

After registration, all communication will be via email to the parents. Similar to last year, the first round written test will also include a vocabulary test in a multiple choice format. Specific rules along with the study materials will be shared with the registrants.

The winner of this next level Bee held by the sponsor(s) will be able to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Registration and other pertinent information will be communicated either via the school newsletter, the PTA website and Facebook page.

Written Elimination Rules / Resources Information can be found here.
