Meet Mr. Wilson

My name is Amie Burnam and I have taught Physical Education for 18 years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education at Valdosta State University and earned a Master’s degree from Cambridge College in Boston, MA. Immediately following College, I opened a Health Club/Fitness Center and continued that business for 3 years before transitioning into teaching. I have always been in love with fitness but it was at the Health Club that I also learned of my love for children and encouraging them to be fit and healthy. I look forward to every new year that God blesses me with and the opportunity to share my passion with my students. My name is Jayson Wilson. This is my 4th year teaching Health and Physical Education. I have worked for the Lowndes County School System for 6 years and I’m excited to start my 3rd year at The Grove. I am from Hahira, Ga and graduated from Lowndes High School where I played baseball. I then went on to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Valdosta State University. I am the head baseball coach at Pine Grove Middle and the assistant softball coach. I’m looking forward to a fun and exciting year here at PGE.
