Mrs. Swain's Kindergarten
Welcome to Mrs. Swain and Mrs. Lancianese's Kindergarten class! Kindergarten is such a fun year! We have a lot to learn, but we also get to have a lot of fun while we learn!
All About Mrs. Swain
Welcome to "Swaindergarten!" My name is Jennifer Swain. This is my 10th year teaching. I spent 4 years in PreK and the 2018-2019 school year will be by 8th year in kindergarten. I graduated from Lowndes High SchooI-Go Vikings! I also graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education-Go Blazers! I am a certified reading specialist. I enjoy sports-football is my favorite...You can find me cheering for the Vikings on Friday nights and on Saturdays I pull for my local Blazers as well as UGA! I also love the Atlanta Braves and try to go to a game or two with my family every summer.
My husband Jeremy and I have been married since 2009. We have a sweet little girl named Karlynn who is 5 years old and happy to be a student at WES and a little boy, Grady, who is 2 years old.
All About Mrs. Lancianese
My name is Towanna Lancianese (Lan-cha-knees). I have worked with Mrs. Swain in kindergarten for 4 years. We have so much fun working together with your children. I am proudly retired after 20 years from the United States Air Force. I spent several years volunteering with PTO and being a subsititue teacher before I decided to become a paraprofessional. My husband Jeff and I have been married for 25 years and we have four great children. Tabatha, John, Samantha, and Paige. Mrs. Swain and I met when Paige was in PreK at WES in 2008-2009.
I enjoy spending time with my kids, cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers, going to watch the Georgia Bridgemen at the Lowndes football games, and watching Shark Week!
I can't wait to get to know your child and see what fun adventures we go on this year in Swaindergarten!
Some of my favorite things are drinking Starbucks (your child will tell you that coffee is fuel for the "Swain Train"), working in my flower beds at home, boating, going to the beach, shopping at Target and TJ Maxx, eating Chick-fil-A, exercising, and going to church with my family.
I adore the kindergarten aged children. They are at such an impressionable age, and I thank you for trusting me with your child.
