Introduction:

I am one of the 6th grade Science Teachers at PGM this year.  I have taught both 6th and 8th grade Science and ELA during my time here. While it has been an extremely short summer, I look forward to another new and exciting year at PGM.  As in the words of J.R.R. Tolkien, "The greatest adventure is what lies ahead." Therefore, each day should be an adventure like no other. 

Background:

I graduated from VSU with a degree in Middle Grades Education and later became certified in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in several different school systems and grade levels. When my boys were young, I spent several years at home just being “Mom”. Eventually, I made my way back to the public school system. This year begins my 14th year at PGM.

Personal:

My family consists of my husband, my two sons and their wives, and my 3 grandchildren. I love spending time with my family. I also love reading, especially historical fiction, and  walking with my dog Chloe.
