Meet Mrs. Pope
This year I am teaching 6th grade Earth Science. I have taught 6th and 8th Grade ELA and 8th Grade Physical Science at PGM. I look forward to another new and exciting year at PGM. Each day should be an adventure like no other.
As a side note, I will be out for a little while at the beginning of this school year since I am recovering from surgery. Ms. Marlor will be my long-term sub. I appreciate her filling in, and I know she will be an asset to your child's education. I look forward to returning as soon as I possibly can. Good luck and have a great start.
I graduated from VSU with a degree in Middle Grades Education and later became certified in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in several different school systems and grade levels. When my boys were young, I spent several years at home just being “Mom”. Eventually, I made my way back to the public school system. This year begins my 13th year at PGM.
My family consists of my husband, my two sons and their wives, and my 2 grandchildren. I love spending time with my family. I also love reading, especially historical fiction, and walking with my dog Sam.
