Hello 7th grade students and parents!
The time to return to school is quickly approaching, and I can't wait to meet everyone! In the meantime, here is a little background information on me.
I am beginning my 7th year of teaching public school, my 9th year teaching overall! I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and working towards a Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University Online.
I am a mom of five with one son and four daughters and the proud wife of a newly retired Navy Officer. We have had many adventures living in many places, including Florida, Virginia, Missouri, and Kansas. We are thrilled to have completed our 10th (AND FINAL!) move to Valdosta this summer to be closer to our extended family. I spend a lot of time doing my favorite things: cooking and baking for my family, gardening, and training my three poodles!
I love teaching all ages, and I have experience from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I strive to think outside the box to find new ways to make learning more exciting and engaging! I am looking forward to an awesome school year growing together, with lots of learning and laughs along the way!
