Students will be learning various reading and writing skills to further advance them in understanding and analyzing language arts.

The First 9 Weeks:

During the first 9 weeks student's reading will be focused on literary and informational text, they will be focused on narrative writing and phrases, clauses, and coordinate adjectives.

The Second 9 Weeks:

During the second 9 weeks student's reading will be focused on literary and informational text, they will be focused on informational writing and phrases, clauses, and sentence structure.

The Third 9 Weeks:

During the third 9 weeks student's reading will be focused on literary and informational text, they will be focused on argumentative writing, research for their writing and phrases, clauses, and sentence structure.

The Fourth 9 Weeks:

During the fourth 9 weeks student's reading will be focused on literary and informational text, they will be focused on argumentative writing and phrases, clauses, and sentence structure. Review for GMAS will also be mixed in with content.
