Mr. Mainor - HES 4th Grade

Hello, I am Brian Mainor. I have taught at Hahira Elementary School for 25 years. Through the years, I have taught 2nd/3rd grades combo classes, 3rd/4th grades combo classes, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. I am happy to be working in EIP for the 2018-2019 school year!

I received my Bachelor's degree from Valdosta State College and obtained my Master's degree from Troy University. I love Hahira Elementary School and have come to believe that HES is a "rare jewel" among other schools.

I grew up in neighboring Cook County/Adel, Georgia, and benefited from an education in a small family-centered school. I appreciate Hahira's "small town atmosphere" and the innocence of its children. I strive to educate my students in a safe and challenging manner to better prepare them for the world beyond Hahira & Lowndes County.

Early Intervention Program (EIP)

Children start school at a designated age, but often differ greatly in their intellectual development and experience. The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed to serve students in K-5th grade who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining grade level performance. The EIP program strives to provide additional resources to help students obtain necessary skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest time possible.
