Welcome to our second-grade classroom! I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to be your teacher this year. My name is Miss. Barfield, and I can't wait to embark on this wonderful learning adventure together with all of you.
Second grade is such an exciting time filled with new discoveries, friendships, and growth. Throughout the year, we will explore a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Together, we'll dive into captivating stories, solve challenging math problems, conduct exciting science experiments, and explore the world around us.
About me
Hello! I'm Miss. Barfield, a dedicated educator with a passion for nurturing young minds. I hold a Master of Education in Elementary Education, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to create engaging and effective learning environments. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Valdosta State University, where I honed my abilities in leadership and collaboration. In 2017, I embarked on my career in education, specializing in Middle Grades Education. I thrive on inspiring students to reach their full potential and fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
