Military and Family Life Counselor
Military and Family Life Counselors provide free non-medical counseling support to active-duty military students and their families. Counseling services are confidential with the exception of child abuse/neglect, domestic abuse, and other duty to warn situations. MFLC services provide a wide range of support to military students, family members, and staff who work with military children. Some issues that can be addressed include, but not limited to are school adjustment, deployment and separation, reunion adjustment, sibling and parent-child communication, behavioral concerns, and fear/grief/loss.
If you are interested in MFLC services for your military student, please complete a Parent Consent form and have your student return it to the school.
If you have any questions about the MFLC program, please contact Amy Gaiss at 229-444-8977.
