Mrs. Newham’s Page

Hello, my name is Mrs. Newham. Thank you for visiting my website! I have been teaching for quite a while, all in Lowndes County. Prior to coming to Lake Park Elementary, I was a teacher for 7 years at Westside Elementary, 3 years at Parker Mathis Elementary (which moved into Westside Elementary), and 17 years at Clyattville Elementary.

When I realized teaching was my passion, I pursued my Bachelor and Master degrees from Valdosta State University in the area of Special Education. In 2006, I returned to school once again to complete my Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, Management & Administration from NOVA Southeastern University.

I am married to Donald Newham, who attended Lake Park Elementary as a child. He proudly played football on the 1st state champion team at Lowndes High School. I have two daughters and a son-in-law who all attended Lake Park Elementary as well: Stephanie, who graduated from Valdosta State University with her Master's Degree in Business, and Cari Beth, who graduated from University of Florida's School of Dentistry.

I am a faithful VIKING fan (GO Vikings!) as well as a Florida GATORS fan. (Go Gators!)
