Mr. Jacob Eubanks is a three-time graduate of Valdosta State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2021, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Music Education in 2022, and a Specialist in Education in Teacher Leadership with a Tier I Educational Leadership certification.
Since 2022, Mr. Eubanks has served as the Director of Choirs at Lowndes Middle School, where he leads 6th through 8th grade choral ensembles and founded the school’s first Varsity Singers group. Under his direction, students have consistently demonstrated musical excellence through participation in prestigious events such as the GMEA 6th Grade Statewide Honor Chorus, the GMEA District 8 Middle School Honor Chorus, and the Large Group Performance Evaluation, where his ensembles have earned superior ratings in both performance and sight-reading.
In addition to his work in the choral classroom, Mr. Eubanks serves as an adult advisor for Sources of Strength, a peer-led, upstream suicide prevention program, and contributes as a member of the LMS PBIS Team. He regularly collaborates with colleagues across content areas to design cross-curricular learning experiences that integrate music with broader academic concepts. He also plans and coordinates meaningful trips and performance opportunities that enrich student learning and engagement.
Mr. Eubanks is an active member of several professional and service organizations, including the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA), the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), Capturing Kids’ Hearts, Sources of Strength, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America. He has been nominated for the Valdosta State University Distinguished Alumni Award. During his time at VSU, he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Vocal Student in 2021 and received the Most Outstanding Teacher Leadership Award in 2024.
Mr. Eubanks is passionate about inspiring students to use their voices as instruments for positive expression, meaningful communication, and artistic excellence. He remains committed to growing as an educator and leader while continuing to create impactful musical experiences for his students.
