Meet the Band Directors of LMS!

Mr. Nguyen

I am originally from Cumming, GA, and joined band as a clarinet player in the 6th grade. I participated in District Honor Band in middle school. In high school, I switched over to the Tuba, which has since become my main instrument. I have participated in the District Honor Band in high school as well as marched at Magic Kingdom at Disney World. I graduated from South Forsyth High School in 2013 and attended Auburn University in Auburn, AL. While at Auburn, I have performed across the country, including at the 2014 BCS National Championship game in Pasadena, CA and across the Gulf Coast in the Symphonic Winds. I also had the opportunity to travel to Italy with the Auburn University Symphonic Winds. I graduated with my Bachelors in Music Education in 2017 and continued my education at Auburn, earning my Masters degree in Music Education in 2019. I have a beautiful wife who is the band director at Hahira Middle School and a wonderful cat named Goodwin! I am so excited to share the world of music with you all!
