About Dr. Gatzemeier

Many students and parents already know me as Dr. Lashley. I got remarried in 2019; thus the name change! I know Gatzemeier is a mouthful, so feel free to call me Dr. Gatz. Along with the name change, this marriage gifted me 2 stepsons - Terry (14) and Austin (12). I grew up in Cook County (Adel, Baby!) and graduated from Cook High in 2004. I completed my undergraduate degree at ABAC and VSU. I have my Master's and Doctorate degrees, also from VSU. In addition to my stepsons, I have 3 fur babies - Ruger, Sugar, and Bear. During the fall, I enjoy watching college football, and I am a FSU football fan. The 2021-2022 school year will be my 14th year as a teacher.
