Mrs. Bell's & Mrs. story's
About Mrs. Bell....
I have been teaching for 24 years and 17 of those years have been at LPE. I went to VSU and graduated from there in 1993 with my B.S.Ed. I taught 6 years of Pre-K and 1 year of 2nd grade at HES before coming to LPE. I am looking forward to teaching your child in kindergarten this year.
I have 3 children who keep me on my toes. Andrew is in his final year at Georgia Southern and is majoring in exercise science. Grace is a starting her 2nd year at Columbus State University where she plans to major in musical theatre. Jake is an 8th grader this year at LMS. He takes Taekwando and recently earned his black belt first degree. He also plays the trumpet in the LMS band, participates in 4H, and wrestles for LMS.
We have 2 cats named Maggie and Lucy and 3 dogs named Molly, Daisy, and Biscuit. Our family also works with BARC as foster parents. Occasionally we take in a dog or cat from the shelter until they are adopted. It certainly keeps things interesting around the house!
I love to read and can usually be found with a book in my hand all summer long (plus any free minutes I can squeeze in during the year). My family and I also love to travel especially to the beach and Orlando. This summer a dream of mine came true and I was able to visit my brother and his family in Australia! What an amazing adventure it was!
About Mrs. Story....
I am a transplant from Central Florida. I live right here in Lake Park with my husband, two children, two dogs, and two cats. We stay busy in the evenings attending Taekwondo classes. We have all earned our black belts. I’m also an avid reader and love to travel.
My two children, Zack and Alice, are in fifth and second grade here at LPE. To keep myself occupied, I volunteer much of my time with the PTO. Two years ago, I became a substitute teacher working mostly at LPE. I fell in love with the staff at this school and came on board full time a year ago. I’m eager to work with all of your children this year.
