ESOL English for Speakers of Other Languages

This class is for English Learners where the focus is academic English in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Although my students represent various countries and cultures, we work together each day and learn from each other.

I have high expectations for my students. I expect them to always do their best. If they do this, they will acquire English as their second language. It is my goal for each of my students to graduate from high school and become lifelong learners who choose to make a positive impact in our world.

English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is a state-funded instructional program for eligible English Learners (ELs) in grades K-12 (Georgia School Law Code 1981, § 20-2-156, enacted in 1985).
