Welcome! My name is Ashleigh Kenny, and I am the 7th grade English Language Arts teacher for Team 73. I also teach gifted ELA for 7th grade. This is my eighth year teaching at Hahira Middle, where I was also a student. I am a Viking to the core, and I love having the opportunity to work in the school system I grew up in.

I majored in English at Valdosta State University and went on to obtain a master's degree in Secondary English and a specialist degree in Teacher Leadership.

My world revolves around my classroom, and my students are everything to me! Each day is truly an adventure, and I could not imagine doing anything else with my life. I am blessed to be able to say I've truly found my passion. Outside of school, I live for concerts. When Stevie Nicks, Cher, or Taylor Swift are on tour, I am there! While I have no children of my own (even though I have hundreds of "kids"), my furbabies, Sawyer and Ellie , take up a huge chunk of my heart. The beach is my escape, I find sunsets to be absolutely magical, and am always looking for a rainbow in the clouds.
