Thank you for considering Lowcountry Leadership Pre-School as a choice for your child. We are very excited about all of the learning and fun that our students are involved in each day! Located next door to Lowcountry Leadership Charter School, Lowcountry, Leadership Pre-School (LLPS) is a privately operated fee-based K3 & K4 Pre-School open during the regular school year (follows LLCS calendar) and offers full-time and flex schedules.
Our Pre-K program is a wonderful launching pad from which to start your child’s educational life. We are committed to doing our best to ensure your child’s pre-school experience is an enjoyable time that is filled with learning opportunities that will establish the building blocks for your child’s future success in school and in life. Our wonderful teachers will provide your children with a pre-school experience that is both enjoyable and constructive in an environment that is safe and nurturing. Age-appropriate learning opportunities encourage motor skill growth, letter and number recognition, understanding concepts, and social interaction, all presented in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
aDMISSIONS
All children must be applied to attend - simply complete the online Application for Enrollment Consideration. Classroom rosters are generated based on a first apply - first attend basis. When more students are applied than space available, a wait list is generated. There is no guarantee children will be admitted for the desired classroom for the desired year. Megan Whitt is the Director of Lowcountry Leadership Pre-School and K-4 assistant. She has 14 years experience in the pre-k education field. She has an Associates of Arts with an emphasis in music from Spartanburg Methodist College. From there she completed the Childhood and Family Studies program at Trident Technical College before transferring to Charleston Southern University as an Early Childhood Education major with an emphasis in special education. She has been the choir director for Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church for the last 12 years and has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Sadie.

Q: Does LLPS have a uniform policy?
A: No. LLPS follows same Dress Code for LLCS next door. To view the policy, please click here.
Q: Does LLPS have school supply lists?
A: Yes. Our pre-school has a fairly simple and low-cost supply list. Please check in with LLPS Director, Ms. Megan Whitt for details at mwhitt@lowcountryleadership.org.
Q: Does LLPS have waiting lists?
A: Space is limited at LLPS and at times there may be a waiting list in place. Please call 843-889-5577 to inquire about space availability.
Q: If my child attends LLPS, does he/she automatically have a space at LLCS (the charter school next door) for K5?
