Mental Health Matters!
Purpose
Parent Involvement is very important in the life of a student. Communication between parents and school staff is vital to the success of our students. Let's work together to continue building a school culture that is supportive, respectful, and conducive to successful student learning.
What We've Done
The Counselor has put together this site for you as an easy way to get to know the resources available to you and navigate through a virtual counseling office for your children. Click through the pages and get to know the staff and check out the resources we post such as videos and informational material on mental health.
Students and families are encouraged to use our counseling website and learn more about our services. Our counseling program is able to help students and families with:
Promoting positive attitudes among students towards self, family, peers and community.
Assisting students in learning how school performance relates to future opportunities.
Working with students, parents and school staff to identify learning needs and to design interventions to enhance student success.
Helping students to recognize and make the best of their abilities.
Providing support during a personal crisis.
Working with students on attendance issues.
Developing student career awareness.
Helping to create a safe and positive learning experience.
